My client, Marko Papic, Chief Strategist at BCA Research, came to me with a clear vision for the cover. His initial concept was a bird’s-eye view of a road cutting through mountains in the shape of the USD symbol, with tanks on top, meant to symbolize the intersection of geopolitics and the market.

While the idea was strong, I felt it leaned toward a more generic interpretation. Since he also wanted something playful and simple, I proposed several alternative concepts. One stood out to him: a burning dollar bill with flames forming a world map.

We agreed it offered a fresher, less conventional take while still effectively capturing the book’s core message, how geoplotical/political insight can help forecast the stock market.
